Hannah's Story
In 2017 Hannah's husband suffered a stroke in the early hours of 21st April. In this moment her life - and his - was changed forever. He was 29. She was 28. And all of a sudden they were not sure of their future. I could only describe it at the time as 'almost getting to the end of a puzzle and someone suddenly messing it up or hiding the last piece'.Fundraising for SameYou has given me focus. Meeting like minded people and other survivors and their loved ones. Chris and I are no longer together but we remain friends and he supports my efforts to fundraise and raise awareness of strokes in young people.
